Old Fashioned Pancakes

This all-time famous breakfast recipe is a good source of energy. Makes 4 servings.

  • ​½ cup all purpose flour
  • ​1 egg, beaten
  • ​¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ​¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ​¼ cup 2% milk plus ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1. Combine first four ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Add milk and water.

2. Add more water for thinner pancakes or less for thicker pancakes.

3. Heat oil in a skillet or on a griddle. Pour ¼ cup batter on griddle.

4. Cook until brown, turning on each side.
