Pineapples are very versatile. Try this recipe and make your rice a little but more tropical by following the techniques in this dish.
canned pineapple tidbits in unsweetened juice
long grain white rice, uncooked
1. Drain pineapple and reserve juice.
2. Mix together the pineapple, rice, reserved pineapple juice & water in a saucepan.
3. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until all of the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
